An interesting game for Burgos (22-6) which hosted in Burgos 4th ranked Blancos de Rueda (19-9). First ranked Burgos managed to get a 14-point victory 83-69. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Blancos de Rueda. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 14 points. It was a good game for American-Cape Verdean point guard Jeffrey Xavier (189-85, college: Providence) who led his team to a victory with 22 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Point guard Albert Sabat (182-85) contributed with 11 points and 5 assists for the winners. Montenegrin guard Nikola Rakocevic (192-91) replied with 22 points and forward Sergi Pino (197-87) added 15 points in the effort for Blancos de Rueda.
