Very expected game when 15th ranked CB Prat (5-23) lost to second ranked Leche Rio Breogan (20-8) in Lugo 80-85 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. CB Prat was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 29-16 charge of Leche Rio Breogan, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Brandon Edwards (198-91, college: Texas Arlington, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) notched 29 points to lead the effort and guard Alejandro Lopez (189-91) supported him with 17 points. Even 14 points and 8 assists by point guard Roger Vilanova (181-87) did not help to save the game for CB Prat. Center Victor Serrano (211-89) added 12 points and 10 rebounds. CB Prat's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Leche Rio Breogan maintains second position with 20-8 record having just two points less than leader Burgos, which they share with Ourense. CB Prat lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 23 lost games.
