A2 Silver top team - Treviso Basket (21-9) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Aget Service IM (12-18) in Imola 82-59. The game was mostly controlled by Treviso Basket. Aget Service IM was better in second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Aget Service IM 41-21 including 27 on the defensive glass. American forward Marshawn Powell (201-90, college: Arkansas) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Coron Williams (185-89, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Four Treviso Basket players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Andrea Bartolucci (202-85) with 15 points and point guard Francesco De Nicolao (184-93) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Treviso Basket maintains first position with 21-9 record. Aget Service IM lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Latina Basket and Legnano.
