Regular Season Round 32: GET Vosges - Mulhouse 93-101

Everything could happen in Golbey at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Mulhouse Basket and 10th ranked GET Vosges had identical 16-13 record. But GET Vosges was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Mulhouse 101-93 on Friday night. GET Vosges was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Mulhouse Basket shot 60.4 percent from the field and made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. Mulhouse Basket outrebounded GET Vosges 29-17 including 19 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Mulhouse Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. GET Vosges was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. British-Ghanian center Eric Boateng (208-85, college: Arizona St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Mathieu Bigote (190-84) contributed with 30 points for the winners. Forward Babacar Diouf (192-88, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 25 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Raphael Wilson (195-89) added 24 points in the effort for GET Vosges. Four Mulhouse Basket and five GET Vosges players scored in double figures. GET Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Mulhouse Basket (17-13) moved-up to eighth place. GET Vosges lost third consecutive game. GET Vosges at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Mulhouse Basket will face Quimper UJAP (#14) at home in the next round where they are favorite. GET Vosges will play against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
