There was no surprise when 12th ranked FC Barcelona II (9-19) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Meridiano Alicante (17-10) 66-56. FC Barcelona II was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 33-20 second half run of Meridiano Alicante. FC Barcelona II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Javier Marin (194-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 11 points and 6 assists. Forward Joan Pardina (202-93) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners.
