An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Inowroclaw. First ranked Notec faced second-best Gimbasket Przemysl. Host Notec (15-2) smashed guests from Przemysl (10-6) 88-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gimbasket Przemysl. The game without a history. Notec led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded Gimbasket Przemysl 38-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Notec players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Mikolaj Grod (194-89) nailed 15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and forward Hubert Wierzbicki (196-91, agency: Promotex) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). point guard Hubert Makuch (180-85) came up with 16 points and 7 assists and Artur Mikolajko (197-79) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Gimbasket Przemysl in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Notec have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group E with 15-2 record. Newly promoted Gimbasket Przemysl dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Notec's next round opponent will be league's second-placed AZS AGH Alstom in Krakow and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gimbasket Przemysl will play at home against Asseco II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
