Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (12-37) was outscored at home by second ranked Okinawa GK (40-9) 89-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Okinawa GK. Bambitious Nara was better in fourth quarter 28-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Okinawa GK looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Bambitious Nara's players. It was a very good performance for American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 assists. Guard Ryuichi Kishimoto (176-90) contributed with 16 points for the winners. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import center Jared Carter (216-86, college: Kentucky) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Bambitious Nara. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Okinawa GK have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 40-9 record having just -1 point less than leader Kyoto Hannar. Bambitious Nara lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 37 games lost. Okinawa GK will have a break next round. Bambitious Nara will play again at home against the league's second-placed Okinawa GK (#2) and hope to win that game.
