Not a big story in a game in Katowice where 5th ranked Mickiewicz (8-9) was outplayed by second ranked Nysa Klodzko (13-4) 85-64 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Nysa Klodzko. Mickiewicz was better in second period 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nysa Klodzko looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was center Jaroslaw Bartkowiak (201-85) who scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Maciej Lepczynski (194-83) chipped in 19 points. Coach Marcin Radomski's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Dawid Kolakowski (207-93) who recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Mateusz Migala (202-94) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The victory was the third consecutive win for Nysa Klodzko. They maintain second place in Group F with 13-4 record having just two points less than leader AZS AWF K-ce. Loser Mickiewicz keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Nysa Klodzko will face league's leader AZS AWF K-ce in Katowice in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mickiewicz will play at home against Kalisz (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
