The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Wisla Krakow's (2-13) home loss to eighth ranked AZS PGd (7-9) 52-81 on Saturday. The game without a history. AZS PGd led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Wisla Krakow to just 6 points in first quarter. AZS PGd held Wisla Krakow to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.6 percent accuracy of the winners. AZS PGd forced 19 Wisla Krakow turnovers and outrebounded them 53-32 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Wisla Krakow will play on the road against Trefl II Sopot and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
