Regular Season Round 52: Takamatsu FA - Gunma 77-75

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Takamatsu FA's (15-34) home victory over 9th ranked Gunma (18-31) 77-75 on Saturday. Gunma was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 18-12 charge of Takamatsu FA, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for power forward Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Justin Watts (196-90, college: N.Carolina) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. Takamatsu FA's coach Kenzo Maeda used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Carlos Dixon (201-81, college: Virginia Tech) replied with 31 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Daniel Northern (206-85, college: Tenn Tech, agency: R.H.Consultancy) added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Gunma. Takamatsu FA maintains eighth position with 15-34 record, which they share with Yokohama BC. Gunma at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 31 games lost. Takamatsu FA will face again Gunma (#9) at home in the next round.
