Very important is a road loss of third ranked Slask (20-9) against fifth ranked AZS Koszalin (21-8) on Sunday night. Visiting Slask was defeated by AZS Koszalin in a tough game in Koszalin 64-69. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Slask. AZS Koszalin made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. American forward Qyntel Woods (202-81, college: N.Mississippi JC) nailed 17 points for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Dante Swanson (178-81, college: Tulsa) accounted for 6 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American Roderick Trice (185-84, college: S.Carolina) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian center Aleksandar Mladenovic (207-84, agency: BeoExcell) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Slask in the defeat. Four Slask players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for AZS Koszalin. They moved-up to third place. Slask at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Rosa Radom. AZS Koszalin will play against Anwil (#12) in Wloclawek in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Slask will play at home against Asseco (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
