The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Armani Milano (23-4) in Capo d'Orlando on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by thirteenth ranked Upea CdO (10-17) 71-57. The game was mostly controlled by Upea CdO. Armani Milano managed to win second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American-Jamaican guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Tyrus McGee (188-91, college: Iowa St.) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Nicolo Melli (205-91) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Upea CdO moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Openjobmetis V. and Sidigas AV. Defending champion Armani Milano still keeps top position with four games lost. Upea CdO is looking forward to face higher ranked Cimberio Varese on the road in the next round. Armani Milano will play against Granarolo BO and is hoping to win this game.
