The game in Sopot was also worth to mention about. Third ranked PGE Turow (21-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Trefl (13-16). PGE Turow managed to secure a 8-point victory 74-66. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Trefl won third quarter 17-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ukrainian center Kyryl Natyazhko (208-90, college: Arizona, agency: Beo Basket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Michal Chylinski (196-86, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five PGE Turow players scored in double figures. Lithuanian forward Eimantas Bendzius (205-90) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and international Michal Michalak (197-93) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Trefl. Trefl's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Trefl at the other side keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. PGE Turow's next round opponent will be league's leader Stelmet in Zielona Gora and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trefl will play on the road against Wikana Start (#13) in Lublin and hope to win that game.
