Semi-Finals Game 3: BC Kyiv - Khimik 62-99

Khimik stormed past BC Kyiv in the capital and sealed their title series appearance. The game without a history. Khimik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to BC Kyiv's 30 and made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game, while BC Kyiv only scored five points from the stripe. Khimik looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by BC Kyiv's players. It was a great evening for international center Artem Pustovyi (216-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Oleksandr Ryabchuk (189-89) helped adding 13 points and 4 assists. Khimik's coach Karlis Muiznieks felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Valeriy Anisimov (208-90) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds.
