Important game to mention about took place in Rijeka. Fourth ranked Kvarner (4-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 5th ranked KK Zadar (3-4) 86-85 in the game for the fourth place. KK Zadar was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 27-23 charge of Kvarner, which allowed them to win the game. They made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Strangely KK Zadar outrebounded Kvarner 44-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. KK Zadar was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dino Cinac (201-88, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Mauro Veljacic (183-93) contributed with 19 points and 6 steals for the winners. Center Ive Ivanov (200-85) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds and forward Henrik Sirko (201-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 22 points in the effort for KK Zadar. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KK Zadar's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kvarner maintains fourth place in Places 1-8 with 4-3 record. KK Zadar at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost.
