Marinos have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 24-6 record. Guaros at the other side keep the second position with ten games lost. They share it with Bucaneros. Marinos are looking forward to face Gigantes (#8) in Puerto Ordaz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Guaros will play at home against the league's second-placed Bucaneros (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
