The biggest surprise of round 7 was guest GKK Sibenik's (2-5) road victory over 6th ranked KK Zabok (1-6) 91-78 on Wednesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by GKK Sibenik. KK Zabok managed to win second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. GKK Sibenik shot 63.2 percent from the field. GKK Sibenik outrebounded KK Zabok 30-17 including 23 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Zoran Vrkic (203-87) fired 26 points for the winners. Forward Aleksandar Marcius (209-90, college: De Paul) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Petar Maric (196-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) produced 18 points and 5 assists and power forward Filip Bundovic (205-94, agency: Octagon Europe) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. GKK Sibenik moved-up to sixth place in Places 1-8. KK Zabok at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.
