Second Stage Round 10: Ksiezak Lowicz - Trefl II Sopot 91-74

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Trefl II Sopot (2-16) lost on the road to third ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (12-6) 91-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Ksiezak Lowicz. Trefl II Sopot was better in fourth quarter 28-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ksiezak Lowicz looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Point guard Piotr Trepka (182-80) contributed with 6 points and 9 assists for the winners. Ksiezak Lowicz's coach Robert Kucharek used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Damian Ciesielski (182-97) replied with 23 points and 4 assists and Pawel Krefft (188-96) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Trefl II Sopot. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ksiezak Lowicz moved-up to second place in Group E, which they share with AZS AGH Alstom. Trefl II Sopot lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 16 games lost.
