Regular Season Round 54: Kyoto Hannar. - Osaka Evessa 90-76

BJ League top team - Kyoto Hannar. (43-8) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Osaka Evessa (28-23) 90-76. The game was mostly controlled by Kyoto Hannar.. Osaka Evessa was better in third quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kyoto Hannar. won last quarter 27-15. It was a good game for American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import forward Ryan Forehan-Kelly (196-80, college: California) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Kyoto Hannar.'s coach Honoo Hamaguchi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Soma Takuya (181-91) added 24 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Osaka Evessa. Five Kyoto Hannar. and four Osaka Evessa players scored in double figures. Kyoto Hannar. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 43-8 record. Osaka Evessa at the other side keeps the fifth place with 23 games lost. Kyoto Hannar.'s next round opponent will be again Osaka Evessa (#5) at home.
