A very close game took place in Athens between Panelefsiniakos and Panionios. Thirteenth ranked Panelefsiniakos (6-18) got a very close victory on the road over 14th ranked Panionios (3-20). The best for the losing side was American William Coleman (206-88, college: Memphis) with 23 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Vasilis Xanthopoulos (188-84, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 17 points and 9 assists. Five Panelefsiniakos and four Panionios players scored in double figures. Panelefsiniakos maintains thirteenth position with 6-18 record. Panionios lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Panelefsiniakos will meet at home league's second-placed Panathinaikos in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Panionios will play against Apollon Patras (#10) and hope to secure a win.
