Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque and 7th ranked JDA Dijon had identical 15-14 record. This time Gravelines-Dunkerque used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from JDA Dijon 73-53 on Saturday night. Gravelines-Dunkerque dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to JDA Dijon's 30. Gravelines-Dunkerque forced 20 JDA Dijon turnovers and outrebounded them 36-21 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Gravelines-Dunkerque (16-14) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Le Mans. JDA Dijon at the other side dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque will face bottom-ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (#18) in Boulogne-sur-Mer in the next round which should be another easy win for them. JDA Dijon will play at home against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#13) and hope to win that game.
