Regular Season Round 30: Le Mans - Chalon 68-66

Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Le Mans (16-14) edged at home 12th ranked Chalon/Saor (14-16) 68-66 on Saturday. Chalon/Saor trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 21-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 66-68 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was American-DR Congolese power forward Judson Wallace (206-82, college: Princeton) who scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. International Charles Kahudi (199-86, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jason Rich (191-86) who recorded 24 points and his fellow American import Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Chalon/Saor's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Le Mans moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Gravelines. Chalon/Saor at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Le Mans will face higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chalon/Saor will play against SPO Rouen (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
