There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Takamatsu FA (17-35) was edged on the road by tenth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (13-39) 89-87 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points. Fukuoka Rizing made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Four Fukuoka Rizing and five Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. Takamatsu FA's coach Kenzo Maeda rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fukuoka Rizing moved-up to ninth place. Loser Takamatsu FA keeps the eighth position with 35 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will face again higher ranked Takamatsu FA (#8) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
