No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Aris (15-8) defeated on the road 12th ranked Aiolos Trikallon (8-16) 81-74. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Aiolos Trikallon won third quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American point guard Torey Thomas (180-85, college: Holy Cross) who scored that evening 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Vassilis Symtsak (204-81) supported him with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Even 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by American guard Alex Harris (196-86, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Aiolos Trikallon. His fellow American import point guard Justin Ingram (189-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) added 12 points and 9 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aris maintains fourth position with 15-8 record. Aiolos Trikallon lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Aris' next round opponent will be league's leader Olympiacos in Athens and it may be the game of the week. Aiolos Trikallon will play at home against AGOR (#6) and hope to win that game.
