Very expected game in Badalona where 16th ranked Gipuzkoa (9-21) was rolled over by seventh ranked FIATC Joventut (17-13) 91-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. FIATC Joventut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game. FIATC Joventut outrebounded Gipuzkoa 38-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Bosnian-Croatian center Goran Suton (208-85, college: Michigan St.) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Center Nacho Llovet (201-91) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four FIATC Joventut players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center David Doblas (206-81) who recorded 17 points and power forward Daniel Diez (202-93) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
