Regular Season Round 30: PGE Turow - Stelmet ZG 92-79

Round 30 in TBL means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Zgorzelec where host PGE Turow (23-7) beat league's leader Stelmet (23-7) 92-79 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Stelmet managed to win third quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Stelmet helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Nemanja Jaramaz (200-91, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Mardy Collins (198-84, college: Temple) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) who recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively. Five PGE Turow and four Stelmet players scored in double figures. PGE Turow have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Stelmet ZG.
