Sixth-ranked Aomori Watts (23-29) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Sendai 89ers (37-15) on Sunday. The visitors from Sendai managed to secure only five-point victory 89-84. However their fans expected easier game. The guests trailed by 13 points after three quarters before their 25-12 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 5-point victory in overtime. Aomori Watts were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Kejuan Johnson (193-85, college: Long Beach St., agency: Inception Sports) fired 28 points and 7 rebounds for the winners.
