Very predictable result in Tokyo where first ranked Hitachi Sunrockers (44-8) smashed 7th ranked Wakayama T. (5-47) 96-50 on Sunday. The game without a history. Hitachi Sunrockers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Wakayama T. to just 6 points in second quarter. Hitachi Sunrockers dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Wakayama T.'s 36. Hitachi Sunrockers forced 20 Wakayama T. turnovers and outrebounded them 45-26 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds.
