Ovarense knocked down Lusitania to ensure 2-0 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-46. Ovarense dominated on the defensive end, holding Lusitania to just 5 points in second quarter. They also forced 21 Lusitania turnovers. Ovarense looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Nuno Morais (183-90) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and Senegalese center Masine Fall (208-93) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
