We should mention about the upset which took place in Dabrowa Gornicza, where 11th ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (10-20) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Wilki Morskie (9-21) 85-94 on Sunday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-21. But MKS Dabrowa Gornicza won second period 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Wilki Morskie made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Wilki Morskie outrebounded MKS Dabrowa Gornicza 52-32 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Serbian center Uros Nikolic (207-87, agency: Beo Basket) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian-Slovenian power forward Ivan Marinkovic (209-93) chipped in 10 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Five Wilki Morskie players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Ken Brown (180-89, college: Philander Smith, agency: Octagon Europe) with 23 points and 4 steals and his fellow American import center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wilki Morskie moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Wikana-Start. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza lost fourth consecutive game. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 20 games lost. They share it with Anwil.
