CAB Madeira bounced back from the starting loss and edged Vitoria SC on the road. Vitoria SC cut a 15-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. They outrebounded Vitoria SC 35-24 including a 24-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. American point guard Jordan Aaron (178-92, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) scored 18 points to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Tommie Eddie (201-82, college: Mississippi) chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four CAB Madeira players scored in double figures. American guard Doug Wiggins (185-88, college: Mountain St.) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and international forward Joao Balseiro (192-87) scored 18 points.
