Benfica held off Oliveirense to gain 2-0 lead. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 98-86. Benfica made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game, while Oliveirense only scored three points from the stripe. They outrebounded Oliveirense 40-24 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Benfica looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists.
