Naestved snatched a tough victory over Svendborg and earned Ligaen Bronze medals. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Naestved shot 63.6 percent from the field and made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Corin Henry (180-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 25 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). South African center Christopher Gabriel (210-88, college: San Diego) contributed with 23 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Gabriel is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Argentinian-Italian point guard Antonio Porta (187-83, agency: Players Group) answered with 31 points and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and American center William Paul (208-88, college: Arkansas Tech) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Svendborg. Five Naestved and four Svendborg players scored in double figures.
