Gmunden held off Klosterneuburg to even the series. The game was mostly controlled by Gmunden Swans. Dukes was better in third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gmunden Swans dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Dukes' 20. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American forward Tyler Griffey (206-90, college: Illinois, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) notched 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Dorian Green (188-91, college: Colorado St.) supported him with 10 points and 7 assists. Four Gmunden Swans players scored in double figures. Even 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by international point guard Moritz Lanegger (190-90, agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for Dukes. American forward Malik Cooke (201-89, college: S.Carolina) added 11 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
