Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-91) helped adding 21 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Jesus Martinez (204-86) responded with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American Dar Tucker (193-88, college: De Paul) scored 18 points. Four Trotamundos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guaiqueries maintains sixth place with 19-14 record. Trotamundos at the other side keep the fourth position with 13 games lost. Guaiqueries will play against Panteras (#9) in Caracas in the next round. Trotamundos will play at home against the league's leader Marinos (#1) and hope to get back on the winning track.
