Quarter-Finals Round 2: Lietkabelis - Zalgiris 67-73

Zalgiris stole a tough road win over Lietkabelis to take 2-0 lead. The guests were already 26 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 30-10 Lietkabelis' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 73-67 at the end of the game. Zalgiris dominated on the defensive end, holding Lietkabelis to just 4 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Lietkabelis 40-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. Guard Arturas Milaknis (195-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points. The former international Paulius Jankunas (205-84) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Zalgiris' coach Gintaras Krapikas used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Canadian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) replied with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Arnas Labuckas (205-87, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lietkabelis.
