Regular Season Round 48: Wakayama T. - Hyogo S. 81-67

We should not miss a home victory of seventh ranked Wakayama T. (6-48) over one of their biggest challengers Hyogo S. (18-36) 81-67. The game was mostly controlled by Wakayama T.. Hyogo S. was better in third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Hiroya Oogane (180-89) who scored 26 points and 7 assists. American power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds. Wakayama T.'s coach Eric Gardow allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds and forward Shinnosuke Negoro (195-87) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Wakayama T. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tsukuba R. and Kumamoto V. Hyogo S. at the other side keeps the fourth position with 36 games lost.
