Gravelines-Dunkerque was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American power forward Jason Boone (200-85, college: New York U.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Stephen Brun (202-80) helped adding 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four SO Maritime Boulogne players scored in double figures. Newly promoted SO Maritime Boulogne maintains eighteenth place with 6-25 record. Gravelines-Dunkerque at the other side keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Paris-Levallois and Le Mans. SO Maritime Boulogne will play against higher ranked Cholet Basket (#15) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against the league's second-placed JSF Nanterre (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
