Regular Season Round 31: Fos Ouest - Roanne 75-79

Very expected game when 14th ranked Fos Ouest (12-19) lost to seventh ranked Chorale de Roanne (18-13) in Fos-sur-Mer 75-79 on Tuesday. Fos Ouest trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 20 after three quarters before a 29-13 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 75-79 at the end of the game. Fos Ouest was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for swingman Raphael Desroses (199-80) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Charles Jackson (203-87, college: Hawaii-Pacific) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Will Harris (197-86, college: Albany) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import swingman Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) added 15 points in the effort for Fos Ouest. Five Fos Ouest players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Chorale de Roanne. They moved-up to sixth place. Fos Ouest lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. Chorale de Roanne will face bottom-ranked Angers BC (#18) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Fos Ouest will play against Boulazac Basket (#3) and hope to win that game.
