Regular Season Round 32: Boulogne - Cholet 103-79

Date: May 9, 2015
Bottom-ranked SO Maritime Boulogne managed to get the second consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time newly promoted SO Maritime Boulogne outleveled fifteenth-ranked Cholet Basket in Boulogne-sur-Mer 103-79. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 24-point difference proves that SO Maritime Boulogne was well-prepared to that game. The game was mostly controlled by SO Maritime Boulogne. Cholet Basket managed to win third quarter 28-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SO Maritime Boulogne shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 52.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tweety Carter (180-86, college: Baylor, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 assists and the other American import Darnell Wilson (198-85, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) who added 22 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) during the contest. Five SO Maritime Boulogne players scored in double figures. Center Nicolas de Jong (210-88, agency: Comsport) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian guard Devoe Joseph (193-90, college: Oregon, agency: Beo Basket) scored 15 points. Newly promoted SO Maritime Boulogne maintains eighteenth position with 7-25 record. Cholet Basket at the other side dropped to the fourteenth place with 20 games lost. They share the position with Rouen. SO Maritime Boulogne are looking forward to face higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Cholet Basket will play against Sluc Nancy (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
