Important game to mention about took place in Cholet. Fifteenth ranked Cholet Basket (13-20) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked Sluc Nancy (18-15) 87-84 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sluc Nancy won third quarter 25-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. At the other side the best for losing team was Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic (211-88, agency: Beo Basket) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Benjamin Sene (186-94, agency: Comsport) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cholet Basket moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Sluc Nancy lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 15 games lost. Cholet Basket will face higher ranked Chalon/Saor (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sluc Nancy will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#3) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
