Very expected game when 16th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (10-23) was rolled over on the road by eighth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (17-16) 83-61 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Gravelines-Dunkerque. Entente Orleans 45 was better in second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gravelines-Dunkerque dominated on the defensive end, holding Entente Orleans 45 to just 5 points in first quarter. The best player for the winners was international swingman Pape Sy (200-88) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. American center Graham Brown (205-84, college: Michigan) chipped in 17 points. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Sean May (206-84, college: N.Carolina) who recorded 12 points and 9 rebounds and Congolese-Central African Max Kouguere (198-87) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Gravelines-Dunkerque maintains eighth place with 17-16 record, which they share with Paris-Levallois and Chalon. Loser Entente Orleans 45 keeps the sixteenth position with 23 games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque will face SPO Rouen (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Chalons-Reims and hope to win that game.
