Second Stage Round 4: Trotamundos - Guaros 91-77

An interesting game for Trotamundos (1-3) which hosted in Valencia top-ranked Guaros (4-1). Third ranked Trotamundos managed to get a 14-point victory 91-77. The game was mostly controlled by Trotamundos. Guaros was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-25 charity shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Trotamundos players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) fired 25 points for the winners. The former international point guard David Cubillan (181-87, college: Marquette) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists. Four Trotamundos players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Rafael Guevara (193-79) produced 18 points and 6 assists and international power forward Luis Bethelmy (200-86) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Guaros' coach Nestor Garcia rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Trotamundos maintains third position with 1-3 record having five points less than leader Guaros, which they share with Bucaneros. Guaros at the other side still keep top place with one game lost. Trotamundos' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Guaiqueries in Porlamar and it will be for sure the game of the week. Guaros will play on the road against the league's second-placed Guaiqueries in Porlamar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
