Sixth-ranked Sluc Nancy (18-16) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Limoges CSP Elite (23-11) on Saturday. The visitors from Limoges managed to secure only six-point victory 107-101. However their fans expected easier game. The guests were tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they managed to win overtime period 26-20. Limoges CSP Elite made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Limoges CSP Elite especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Sluc Nancy was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Adrien Moerman (203-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) contributed with 22 points for the winners. American power forward Randal Falker (202-85, college: S.Illinois) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import Vaughn Duggins (190-87, college: Wright St.) added 23 points, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Sluc Nancy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains third position with 23-11 record having seven points less than leader Strasbourg. Sluc Nancy lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 16 games lost.
