There was no surprise when 14th ranked Cholet Basket (13-21) lost on the road to ninth ranked Chalon/Saor (18-16) 95-88 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 32-18 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Chalon/Saor made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Cholet Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American guard Jason Rich (191-86) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import swingman Scott Suggs (197-89, college: Washington) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Chalon/Saor have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Gravelines and Nancy.
