Sakarya BSB nipped Meliksah away from home to force the decisive third game in the series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-15. But Meliksah won second period 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (184-87, college: Wisconsin) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Caner Ercan (205-86) chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Sakarya BSB's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard Leemire Goldwire (182-85, college: Charlotte) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line).
