The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Anhui (5-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Lhasa (2-5). Anhui smashed Lhasa 111-89. Anhui forced 24 Lhasa turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American Darnell Jackson (203-85, college: Kansas) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Guard YongGang Zhang (198-88) accounted for 29 points and 4 steals for the winning side. Four Anhui players scored in double figures. Guard Chao Zhang (192-90) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and center Chao Zhi (201-89) added 18 points and 6 assists respectively for Lhasa in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anhui have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Anhui maintains second place with 5-1 record behind leader Shaanxi W., which they share with Guayzhou. Lhasa lost third consecutive game. Lhasa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Anhui's next round opponent will be Heilongjiang (#5) at home.
