No shocking result in a game when second ranked Shaanxi W. (11-2) crushed on the road 8th ranked Beijing (1-12) 115-94 on Sunday. The game without a history. Shaanxi W. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Beijing's 42. Shaanxi W. forced 23 Beijing turnovers. Beijing was plagued by 34 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-86, college: UAB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Center Chen Wang (207-89) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Yitao Sun (198-89) replied with 25 points and 6 rebounds and forward Han Qiaowen (195-91) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Beijing. Five Shaanxi W. and four Beijing players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shaanxi W. keeps a position of league leader.
