Regular Season Round 16: Guayzhou - Henan 108-94

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Guayzhou. Third ranked Guayzhou faced 4th ranked Henan. Host Guayzhou (12-2) defeated guests from Henan (10-4) 108-94. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Henan. The game was mostly controlled by Guayzhou. Henan was better in fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyler Wilkerson (203-88, college: Marshall) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds. Swingman Delong Weng (195-87) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Guayzhou players scored in double figures. American forward Tiny Gallon (206-91, college: Oklahoma, agency: Three Eye Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 22 rebounds and guard Zhengbo Wang (187-96) added 24 points in the effort for Henan. Henan's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guayzhou keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Anhui and Shaanxi W. Henan at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Guayzhou will play against bottom-ranked Beijing (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Henan will play against Guangxi (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
