An interesting game was also home loss of Heffingen in a game versus Sparta 93-78. The game was mostly controlled by Sparta. Heffingen managed to win second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American power forward Rashad Hassan (203-89, college: Savannah St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points and 20 rebounds for the winning side and Belgian Julien Hublart (192-88) accounted for 21 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sparta players scored in double figures. American forward Brad Reese (199-88, college: Texas Tech) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import Jalen Nesbitt (198, college: N.Florida, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 25 points and 17 rebounds respectively for Heffingen in the defeat. Heffingen's coach Mark Reed rotated twelve players saving starting five for next games. Sparta will meet at home Residence in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Heffingen will play against Basket Esch and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
